Single Screw Dutch Steel Motor Cruiser. (SSR 69043)

Built by De Ruiters boatyard Holland 1974 (11.8 mt x 3.00 mt x 1.2 mt draught). Hull 5mm steel sheet, Superstructure 3mm. Powered by 6 cylinder Volvo-Penta Diesel (MD32A) 102 hp. Purchased in 1993 from Boat Showrooms Shepperton. Keel cooling==(Closed circuit water cooling)... Bow Thruster (24 volt) V hull, capable of 9 Knots. Nice example of this classic power cruiser. Built by Fairey 1968 and finished by Bruce Campbell. Previous owner had it for 27 years and built the Cruiser superstructure and replaced the original engines(?) with the current Ford 1500cc units (only around 1500 hours on the clock). The volvo outdrives are probably original. The hull was described as a 26' version but according to the Fairy owners club website the huntress was only ever a 23' hull. The hull actually measures 25 ft plus volvo outdrives make it 26 ft overall. The extension was probably all part of the finishing/conversion work by Bruce Campbell. Engines and drives have been regularly serviced each year and are in good working condition. The complete boat was re-painted in 2003/4 and maintained as necessary annually. At present ashore at our yard for annual maintenance and touch up paintwork. ................. £12.500.00
