Our Hire Fleet

Dayboats
(Day Boats Page) Offer a choice to suit all boating occasions for Self Drive Day Hire, Half day or even the odd Hourly Hire. Our largest craft (Molly May and Muggins) can carry a maximum of 12 persons, our 3 quiet electric launches (Sparky, Ellie B and Flash), carry 8 adults in comfort under cover and our open boat (Sea Catch), will also carry 8 persons. From Chertsey you can cruise to Windsor or Teddington and return within the day. There are plenty of sights to see and places to stop and eat or drink. See our Dayboats Page for more details.

We can also provide a GIFT VOUCHER service for our Day Boats - Wonderful Birthday, Christmas or Anniversary present!!!

Our Boatyard

Chertsey Meads Marine is situated on the banks of the River Thames in the heart of Chertsey Meads Meadowland. Easy access from Junction 11 M25. (Between the A3 and M4 junctions). Our business is a family run concern and we encourage the D.I.Y. aspect of boating, we appreciate that part of the enjoyment of owning a boat is (for some) maintaining and improving one's own craft. Every facility is provided for the private boat owner to maintain their craft on our hardstanding and mainstream moorings. Of course, we offer professional help if required.
Our combined years of experience in owning, hiring and maintaining all types of craft, both motor and sail afford a wealth of personal knowledge which we are pleased to pass on to our customers. We have a 26 Ton Crane which can lift boats up to about 40 ft or 12 tons and a small slipway for trailer boats. Established in the late 1950's and under the present ownership since 1974.

We are main agent for ENFIELD Z-DRIVES and specialise in BMC/Leyland diesel engines.
We cater for all makes of inboard engine, petrol or diesel, outboard motor, gearbox, outdrive, sterndrive for repair or service. - New Spares. - S/H Spares. Engine re-builds, Volvo and Enfield z-drive / sterndrive repairs and service.

400 and 500 SERIES. We are now sole manufacturers and suppliers of these robust gearboxes as fitted to many Seamaster and Freeman Cruisers. Watermota Engine service and repairs available. Old Gearboxes wanted for patterns.

Boat Safety Scheme

As CORGI Registered Gas Engineers we can carry out all necessary modifications including Calor Gas installations, electrical and plumbing work.
